Leesburg, VA is a historic town within and the county seat of Loudoun county. Leesburg is 33 miles West-Northwest from Washington DC, along the base of the Catoctin Mountain and adjacent to the Potomac River.

There are several parks in Leesburg. Ida Lee Recreation Park, located near the North side of Leesburg is a full service recreation facility.
Historic sites not to far from downtown are Balls Bluff, Morven Park, The Marshall House and Oatlands Plantation.
Red Rocks Wilderness Regional park located East of Leesburg, along the banks of the Potomac River. The Rust Manor house and Nature Sanctuary, located West side of Leesburg at the foot of the Catoctin Mountain.
Leesburg holds several annual events, which are The Flower & Garden Festival, Fourth of July Celebration with a parade and fireworks, classic car show, airshow and Halloween parade.
